Are you a highly talented tax professional looking for a Tax Associate Director/Director role with a prestigious Top 15 accountancy practice? If so, please do read on, this could be the opportunity that you have been waiting for.

Our client is open reviewing CVs at different levels. The role would suit a Senior Tax Manager seeking your first Director level role, or you could already be an Associate Director looking to continue your progression, hence the wide salary range advertised.

This role is largely compliance based, working on a diverse portfolio of corporate clients and OMBs, where you will contribute towards the provision of a range of high-quality tax services.

As Tax Associate Director/Director your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing strong relationships with a range of corporate clients and OMBs and dealing with enquires
  • Managing a diverse client portfolio
  • Preparing, reviewing and approving corporation tax returns and tax computations
  • Liaising with the General Practice Partners and with clients
  • Dealing with ad-hoc queries from the General Practice Partners and proactively recommending tax opportunities which may be relevant
  • Preparing/amending and/or approving letters and emails for the tax team
  • Assisting in dealing with enquiries raised by HMRC
  • Preparing other forms etc. as required by HMRC or other third parties
  • Developing the wider team, through technical excellence, soft skill development and on the job training
  • Monitoring chargeability on a weekly basis
  • Keeping up to date with legislative developments and changes in the tax landscape
  • Assisting with a variety of ad hoc work as it arises, such as technical research, reorganisations, reconstructions, transfer pricing and R&D claims

You will have extensive corporate tax experience and be looking for a role where you can make a positive impression and further the ongoing success and growth that the firm is experiencing.

  • Ideally be CTA qualified - ACA/ACCA qualification would also be useful but not essential
  • Have significant corporation tax experience as a Senior Tax Manager within a practice environment

  • Experience in nurturing less experienced team members to assist their development
  • Be driven to succeed, take initiative and have the desire to achieve results
