Here is an Audit Director – RI opportunity for a talented and experienced accountancy professional looking to join a highly successful, boutique accountancy practice in Central London.  Currently a Director role, it is envisaged that this person would work towards a move to Partner in the next couple of years.

As Audit Director – RI, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of accounts and external audit clients to deliver a service including building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Overseeing the delivery of audits, accounts, and corporation tax returns for a wide range of clients in a variety of sectors, including but not limited to property, retail, technology and not for profit
  • Managing teams and ensuring planned work is completed within the agreed budget and timescales from planning through to completion
  • Act as a principal contact for your clients through the year delivering a proactive service
  • Liaising with clients and managing client expectations
  • Reporting directly to the Audit Partners and attending client meetings
  • Undertaking pre-and post-audit meetings
  • Preparation and presentation of reports
  • Direct, coach and mentor audit teams to assist them in the delivery of engagements
  • Assisting team members who are studying to help them achieve the best results possible to qualify
  • Proactive business development activities

  • Be qualified ACA or ACCA with extensive post qualified experience within UK practice
  • Hold RI status or have the desire to achieve this in the near future
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards; UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise workload and effectively delegate and apportion work to team members
  • Leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor less experienced team members
  • Strong business acumen
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good IT skills, CaseWare experience would be an advantage
  • The ability to inspire junior team members
