This is a new opportunity for an Accounts Assistant Manager to join their growing Oxford team. This is a full-time permanent position offering hybrid working, three days in the office and two days working at home, and flexible working options (flexing your hours on different days).

Key Responsibilities

  • As a senior member of the accounts team, you will take the lead on managing incoming accounts jobs to ensure that resources are deployed efficiently to meet clients’ deadlines.
  • Build long lasting client relationships, providing expert knowledge and advice whilst also spotting opportunities to refer work to other divisions.
  • Oversee and review the preparation of statutory accounts and tax computations.
  • Support Partners by managing a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Develop others by supporting, mentoring and managing more junior members of the team.
  • Begin to develop own network and assist with business development activities

About You

  • ACCA / ACA qualified
  • Strong UK practice experience with 1-2 years post qualification
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Previous line management experience is desirable
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and client management skills
  • Able to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player
  • Confident, positive, professional and can-do attitude
  • Strong IT skills, specifically Excel and able to pick up new IT packages very quickly
  • Create a positive impression with clients and staff
