A dynamic, Top 10 accountancy practice has asked us to recruit a Tax Manager to join the team at the firm’s Newbury office, to provide a range of tax services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast-growing clients to large corporate entities across a range of industries.

As Tax Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a range of Tax services, focusing on a private client portfolio, specialising in personal tax across a mix of compliance and advisory work.
  • Clients come from all industries, so exposure to multiple sectors would be a distinct advantage.
  • More specifically this would include identification of tax sensitive expenditure and wider tax issues, liaising with clients to resolve queries, communicating with internal departments to ensure deadlines are met, and overseeing client portfolios to ensure HMRC deadlines are met.

A relevant professional qualification such as ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA is essential for this role. The successful appointment will have a collaborative outlook with a process mindset and be adept at dealing with clients around complex tax matters. As this is a Senior position within the team, you will also gain the opportunity to nurture and mentor more junior staff via involvement in advisory projects and reviewing compliance work alike.
