Here is an Audit Senior Manager/Director opportunity for a talented and experienced audit professional looking to join a highly successful, boutique accountancy practice in Central London. The firm is open to applications from candidates looking for either a Senior Manager position or a Director role, hence the wide salary range advertised.

This is a dynamic firm that is modern and forward thinking whilst retaining its original philosophies of providing an exemplary service to the client uppermost in the daily function of the firm, and will offer an excellent working environment along with hybrid working patterns.

As Audit Senior Manager/Director your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of external audit clients to deliver a service including building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Managing audit teams and ensuring planned work is completed within the agreed budget and timescales from planning through to completion
  • Act as a principal contact for your clients through the year delivering a proactive service
  • Liaising with clients and managing client expectations
  • Reporting directly to the Audit Partners and attending client meetings
  • Undertaking pre-and post-audit meetings
  • Preparation and presentation of reports
  • Direct, coach and mentor audit teams to assist them in the delivery of engagements
  • Assisting team members who are studying to help them achieve the best results possible to qualify
  • Proactive business development activities

As previously mentioned, this firm is eager to speak to senior audit professionals who are looking for either a Senior Manager or Director role. If applying for the Senior Manager role, you will currently be working as an Audit Manager looking for the next step, and regarding the Audit Director role you will be currently working as a Senior Manager.

Having RI status would be a massive advantage, although not essential, however, ideally, you will have the desire to achieve RI status in the future.

  • Be qualified ACA or ACCA with extensive post qualified experience within practice
  • Hold RI status or have the desire to achieve this in the near future
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise workload and effectively delegate and apportion work to team members
  • Leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor less experienced team members
  • Strong business acumen
  • Positive 'can do’ attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good IT skills
  • The ability to inspire junior team members
